0s 9 lived up to the days of win xp and it failed to convert me. my statement about os 9 is not outdated. they had 10+ years to convert the masses and they failed.

people still use windows 98 so i'll compare it to OS X 10.4!

I don't think converting the masses was or is Apple's goal. Apple has always been a niche company providing a niche product.

Personally I use both. Apple OS X for my graphic/web design (Apple rules in the design world) and Windows XP for my web development/everything else.

I'm looking forward to the Vista beta.
