Come on now, it's one of those things where you don't consider the outcome because you don't necessary think it'll end as badly as it did.

Who of hasn't gone a little too far with goofing around wrestling, a practical joke, etc where someone gets hurt and you then feel like the biggest ass in the world for having not considered the possible result.

I say cut him some slack as I don't believe he has some PR team speaking on his behalf and treating him like a puppet to regain public favor.

Stupid mistake, he regrets it. Give him a little fine or something but let's not blow this thing out of proportion and end up ruining his career by associating his name forever with "bird killer."
