Default Nike

I haven't bought any Nike product since 1997 b/c of reports of sweatshop. I used to love Nike products - they make great products.
Recently, my gf told me she bought 3 pairs of Nike at a Niketown Clearance. I told her I don't buy Nike and I don't think she should either, but she disagreed. Do you guys think I should mind my own business or should I spread my belief?
How many people here don't buy a product b/c it violates their social belief.

What's Nike? I don't have any Nike product.

Sweatshops are bad, but they do provide a living to those, who, otherwise, wouldn't have any work at all without them. Now, if they could be regulated, then it'd be great.

Nevermind! I just read the articles, and I retract my previous statement. They really need to be regulated against, and stop "enslaving" poor people.

I'm with you on this one S2020....NIKE SUCKS.

I haven't purchased a Nike product in over 15 years and never will again.

As a matter of fact I haven't purchased anything with the MADE IN CHINA label on it in over ten years. I just can't bring myself to support communist goods when China won't sell a damn thing in their country with the MADE IN USA label on it yet well sell this shit out of their goods here in the states. It makes no sense to me. You'd be surprised how many of our basic items are MADE IN CHINA and people buy them on a daily basis without thinking twice about it.
