I think that Ava is pissed off after she was banished from seeing Matt, so she/he went back to being a man and is now the carver. She has motive and could have a functioning penis to rape christian.

The new latin guy is from Atlanta so I don't think it is him. I think its someone totally new because the only reason he targeted Shawn/Christian was because of the probono work they did. I think its someone totally new.
