It does make a case for the Detective that Christian is arrested right after he and Kimber dump her, though.

Yeah the new surgeon is definately a possibility. The fact that they make it look like Christian is the carver pretty much rules him out of being it, they just do that so people will be like "oh my God is it really him?" just like how they made people think he died at the end of season 2 but it was all just a convenient little dream. Anaesthesiologist...nah...Mcnamara's wife...nah...either the new surgeon or someone totally random.

 

I don't think it could be the new surgeon....he was called in to fix Sean's face. My wife and I think it is the psychologist that they hired and then fired after Christian hooked up w/ her and Sean was hitting on her at dinner.

 

i'd have to go along and say it's the new surgeon but based on next week's preview, i'm might be leaning towards christian. when mcnamara found no anal fissures or hemorrhoids to explain's christian's rectal pain, it got me wondering. with that much trauma, there must have been something.
