Uh, the Supra started out as the top of the line Celica. Kinda like the ITR of Integras... just MUCH faster. Perhaps they kept them looking similar for the tradition aspect, tho the Mkiii's and Mkiv's don't look too much like their Celica counterparts. I'm glad there isn't a new Supra here in the US that looks like the current Celica... that would be weird. Mkiv's look damn nice, though.

He is right and I don't see why people should diss him as well, it is the new concept Skyline launched at the Tokyo Motor Show and it does not say GTR at the show. Either way or not, it will have either a turbo V6 or NA V8. This is the market car for the States and is speculated to cost approximately USD$80,000. Want more pure information? The Japanese on board like me would have the most accurate source.
