Nokia Rocks
This is amazing. One nite, I put my Nokia 8290 on my sun visor and though it is a good place to put the phone. Since the phone is sandwitched between sun visor and windshied top. During one of a 90 degree turn, the phone fell out. No one realized it until when I get home. We traced the route back and found the phone in pieces on the side of the road. It cover broke off, battery fell off, the battery cover lying in the middle of the road. When I put everything back, IT WORKS. I have scratches and deep cuts on the side of the phone. It has been running for 4 days now. Nothing wrong with it at all. Pretty cool, although not recommanded.
Well if you think that's amazing ... You should try Motorola, my A6188 Accompli is like a brick in the hand ... I used it to hammer people in the head and starting to bleed before and the phone was ringing in the meantime. Well, cuz he's broke my nose after all.
Does anybody remember the first cell phones? They looked like a military field phone with a big accompanying box for the workings. Years ago, the only mobile phones available were radio phones, like ship-to-shore phones. You called the mobile operator on your radio and she (usually a she) placed the call, and then you went into a roger, over mode, like in the movies. It could be quite frustrating, because it was difficult to hold any kind of coherent two-way conversation. Like in automobiles, these truly are "the good old days" in terms of communications. Seems like I've heard that line recently.
