Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Is it normal?

I've never spent more then $60.00 on jeans. Some of ya'll are just down right crazy $200.00 jeans, they better come with a female hand in the crotch to tickle my balls while I walk.
that is by far the funniest thing i have heard on this site

thats the way it should be........gotta agree, can't see whats the point of expensive jeans. I still rock Levis!
i love my levis. i've never understood the point of expensive jeans, they're meant to get torn up, faded, and dirty anyways. i've never spent more than $50 on jeans, but i do rock $500 shoes and $2000 suits every now and then .

$15.99 Wranglers at Walmart. I prefer to put my money into race tires and retirement accounts.

This was in the photography forum, posted by asukadc. Anyone know what brand they are and if they really cost that much? The caption was "osaka dragon". I asked and noone answered me there...

I'll never spend that much money on jeans. Gap, Old Navy, maybe I'll splurge and get J. Crew or something.

After my first job working in the garment industry, I try not to buy anything that isn't priced in the range of $19.99 to $49.99. This applies to jeans. I bargain shop when possible. But when it comes to ties, shirts and suits, I will pay the price for them. I can't see the reason to pay more than $49.99 for a pair of jeans.

I don't pay more than $30 a pair. If they cost more, I wait 'til they go on sale.

I will only buy Seven Jeans. Usually about $150-$175. I like them because they fit well, are comfortable, durable, and well made. But I don't buy new jeans too often because they last long.

Man 200+ for jeans. WOW. I guess everyone likes different things. I have spent max 70 bucks on jeans. They are Diesel jeans and SO comfortable. I get them at the Diesel outlet on sale. I just can't seem to pay retail when I can get it for less.

s2020 what are the 400 dollar baller shoes you wear? I wear 90% of the time my new balance 991's that I scored for 30 bucks! I have a lot of other shoes that I bought that a rarely wear though.

I guess to each his own. Acutally I'd probably wear more nice clothes if I had a different lifestyle and job, but at work I wear a uniform and off of work I spend 90% of my time playing with my kids, so comfort is where it's at for me.
