Your identity was stolen. You should sign up for one of those credit card monitoring services for at least the next year. You never know what other info the thief has about you.
I don't see what the big deal is.
Someone got a hold of your CC and personal info.. could have been from a card scanner attached to a gas pump, a waiter somewhere you bought food, etc, etc, etc. This shit happens all the time.. file the fraud complaint, and you will get your money back.

If his identity was stolen they wouldnt use a card already issued in his name.
My GF had this happen to her back in November, they hit her for over $1000 before she caught it. her bank refunded the entire amount after they deemed it to be fraudulent charges.
what was the name of the entire charge on your account?

This is why I use credit cards for any online purchases.
Credit Cards will hold the charge while under dispute.
Debit Cards will hold your funds while under dispute.
But Yeah, Norton did suxor. Now they are under Symantec they are testing better in Consumer Reports. I'm still not convinced yet about Norton but I have used Symantec for years and have noting but good things to say about them.

Five times. I hear ya on the credit card. I may start doing that. I just like it better when a purchase (that I make) comes out immediately. I'm sure I will get all my money back, but it still sucks a$$. Why norton's though? I don't understand why it would be that and not something like gas or something. Unless someone that works there did it.
