Sweet...but hard on the butt. I agree - where's the cushioning? Then again, a perfectly supportive seat really doesn't need cushioning (or very much cushioning).

Does any one know who makes those crazy seats?

I'm sure they are too expensive for me, but I'm trying to do the carbon/kevlar thing.

I would add a small butt pad. My ass hurts already, just looking at those seats!

EDIT: I did send an e-mail to SP Engineering, but I haven't heard anything back.

Holy sheep sh!t!!!

I know that carbon/kevlar is not for everyone. My impression is that very few S2000 owners want it on their cars. I only need 2 other people to go in on the carbon/kevlar radiator panel group buy, and I've been trying for almost a month without success.

For some reason, the carbon/kevlar look appeals to me, and I especially like the way it contrasts against the red valve cover, and I think I would like it in the red interior. But it will look really crazy!! (By the way- carbon/kevlar in the engine compartment and interior only, -no exterior pieces.)

If I get these seats, I would have some small, thin leather pads made, just for the anatomical pressure points.

Yes, I'm serious. I have been in touch with the manufacturer, and it may be possible to get those seats made for my S. Please don't ask how much it would cost. I'm not sure exactly, but the estimate almost gave me a heart attack!

Is Kodokan losing it???

I thought Spoon made the only carbon/kevlar seats, until I saw these.

Could they be Spoons with the covers removed? The company that I spoke to said they manufacture this seat.

I couldn't find another pic of these seats, so I photoshopped this pic into my interior, but it doesn't look good. I'm going to find out if I can go and see the seats in person on Monday. If I can, I might pull out my passenger seat before I go, and maybe I can get a real pic of the seat in my car. I think the seats will look better with a leather treatment that matches my interior, but I'm not sure.
