I am not Arab. I am not Muslim. I confess that I know very little about the Muslim faith other than what I learned in my religions of the world course way back in college.

I do know enough to say with confidence that the actions of these animals does not in any way reflect true Islam or the feeling of most Arabs around the world.

I am deeply saddened by the fact that some of my fellow countrymen are lashing out at innocent Arab Americans. Unfortunately, even this great nation has its share of jerks.

Let's stand together. Let's work together. Let's show these a-holes that their acts of terror will not rip the moral fabric from our nation. Let's show them how human beings act.

Luder, not that it's worth anything, but I am truly sorry. I am sure that the overwhelming majority of this nation will agree with me in saying that these people attacking innocent Arab American are not representative our us.

I know and understand that the actions of a few do not represent the rest.....I am an American, I feel no hate towards Muslims of the world, Middle Eastern "looking" Americans, or my caucasion/African American counterparts.

I just wanted to start this thread to also bring other vicitm's ordeal of Tuesday's tragedy to light. I didn't want them to go un-noticed and/or ignored.

I also, in no way, want to diminish the attention towards the "direct" victims of the incident.

I will get back to the WTC, Pentagon topic after this weekend....I, myself, need some time to cope with my own feelings on this event....I've noticed that so much pride and emotion has been stirred out of me with no real outlet, yet still depressing my own emotional health. I wish I had the words in my vocabulary to describe the saddness and maddness I feel for the people that died.......
