and gap bags (surprisingly) are some of THE most durable bags ive ever seen. my husband has had his for four+ years. he uses it for EVERYTHING and it just needs to be washed.

Shrug... I have a patagonia backpack that I've used for 2 full years now. I take it to work, down to client site, on trips. Doens't have a ton of padding, but I have a thinkpad, and it hasn't broken yet. And since it's patagonia, if it starts to fall apart(which it hasn't) then I just take it back and get a new one. I think I bought 2 for $100 on sale or something.

i have 2 timbuk2 bags both about 2 years old and look like the day i got them and are used frequently you should be good with a medium i have a large and a small, i also have a chrome messinger bag which is very nice as well although a little heavier
im big beliver in quality bags so i think its worth paying a little more but that just me good luck

and wawa is sooog good i missed them when i was out in cali last week i just had to stop in to feel at home
