When you have an item for sale, regardless of what it is, it never fails...there is someone that emails you or sends you a PM saying: "please don't sell them, I will take them, sending the money today/tomorrow this week"....and then nothing.

Why do people do that? Why do they have to raise their hand and then hide in the crowd...I never understood.

I understand sometimes people might think this is what they want and they change their mind....ok...but send another )&&)(+3rq43q email then explaining...don't just disappear.

I swear, EVERY time I have tried selling something here it seems to happen. I always try to be the nice guy and give the benefit of the doubt...but I think I have had enough...from now on, NOTHING is sold until I get a confirmation email and payment and the transaction is over...

I recently have had the same problem. People PM'ing saying they will take it for this price and then when I agree no payment... WTF! If you are going to make an offer follow through with it!

 

I'll have to agree with that... Nothing is sold till I have $$$ in paypal or a check/MO waiting to clear.

 

....yes...and things happen...so if THEY happen....just pm or email back and explain...don't just f&83g disappear...i hate that sh&T

 

Yup. Someone was in that position in my region recently. He was parting out his S2K to return to stock (for now) for financial tidying of accounts. A fellow says he wants to purchase the selling owner's 18" wheels. TWO days later...the selling owner sees this [potential buyer of the wheels] has an S2K For Sale thread. The potential buyer...just 2 days later...can't afford his own ride. BUT 2 days earlier, was "all over" wanting to buy $1800 worth of rims .

Reality...itsa biotch, huh?

 

I hate when people call "dibs" also. You have dibs when you've paid for it.
