Any other MCSE out there know for how long?

I would think that you are OK too. After all, you get your MCSE by having the right MCPs. I haven't been able to get to the web site to find out more info. I'll post it if I find anything out.

Where did you find that info? I just checked out the Microsoft site, and it still says they will be decertified on Dec. 31st 2001. I am so late in preparing for the upgrade exam, I don't think I'll be able to make it in time.

Me too but I have since moved more heavily into the UNIX genre. MCSE's seem to be a dime a dozen these days, but RHCE's on the other hand are on the way up.

I get a MCP Magazine News update frequently via email.

Here is the blurb from the email.

In this issue of MCP Magazine News:

* Microsoft Rescinds Retirement of NT 4.0 MCSE Track
Call it listening to customers and partners. In a significant
announcement made late Wednesday, Microsoft is no longer retiring the
certifications of those who obtained their MCSE title under the Windows
NT 4.0 track. At the same time the company publicly announced for the
first time just how many people currently hold the MCSE credential
under Windows 2000.

Email me and I'll forward the whole news letter for anyone interested.
