The O.C. - What do you guys think about it?
John Cho was also in Better Luck Tomorrow. My gf met him a short while after the movie came out and she told me that he's a pretty cool guy. Anyway, Off Center has been cancelled for some time now.
The O.C. seems like a pretty good show, but I think a lot of its draw - for me at least - is the fact that it's based so close to where I live and work. I don't like how they portray Chino, though (I live next to Chino and lots of people there have money as well). The ironic thing about that is the fact that the show is taped in Malibu . . . or at least that's what I've heard. Also, I doubt that the writers of the show would ever refer to real places such as Triangle Square, Condom Revolution, Hooters, or even something like UCI. Fashion Island was a scene in the first episode, but that's the shopping haven for the well to do Newport shoppers so of course it will be mentioned.
