Having managed a short handed Ebay department for a retail store, the amount of email that comes in asking questions where if the buyer would just read the description, they'd save time for both parties It takes a lot of time to go through all the emails and it gets annoying when you keep seeing the same email being written in asking "What color is the item?" etc........when the color is clearly put in the description.

I remember one auction, we put in bold red, "Item includes only what is pictured - item is missing parts." We received a negative from the buyer stating "Item was missing parts" My response to the negative was "Reading is fundamental"

They suck and they tried to hide the info. You were smart and enquired before just buying it. You practiced good caveat emptor. You kept their money they got bubcus.

Win goes to AXboi.
I like your vocabulary, raj. Had to look up emptor on dictionary.com and bubcus on urbandictionary.com. Learn new things everyday.

Your reply email probably went into their spam folder if the guy really blocked you.

Having worked customer service when I was a kid - I gotta mention that this employee has probably answered countless emails asking stupid things like "what kind of batteries does this take?" and "how far is the range?"...info which should be obtained by reading the tech details. He was probably so fed up with the dumb questions that your question just set him off the edge...not that your question was dumb - normally if a company is selling refurbished items they clearly advertise them as refurb's and don't hide it among the technical details.

Don't worry about the guy's attitude - he'll probably be working as a minimum wage order clerk for the rest of his life.

The word "boi" seems to rub you the wrong way. This word is usually associated with an Asian male, or as I was recently informed, a homosexual youngin. It would appear that you're either a racist or a gay basher. Either way,

Feel free to troll onto some other thread.

Reminds me of a political story here a few years ago. When Jesse "I braid my facial hair" Ventura was Governor, he had guy working for him in constituent services for him that wrote a nasty letter. I actually knew the guy at the time and he was a nice guy.

Some woman wrote to the governor complaining that her daughter was not getting child support from two of the deadbeat fathers of her children, and not getting enough benefits from the state, blahbity blah.

I don't remember exactly what the response was but it was along the line of what everyone is always thinking. It did include the line "Maybe if she did not get her boyfriend picking skills from you...." and a suggestion the daughter should get a job. Well that made a big story on the news.

My point to the OP is you got some guy who gets a jillion similar emails and got hacked off and let off some steam in a rude way. Let it go, but don't give them your business. I think you handled it the right way.
