Offensive Avatars!
Yeah Geekd, it's no more then normal. Alot has gone on lately that members havent liked. You just have to look to see. Now I dont see it all myself, but I do see a good fair share of issues.
Personally I think the avatar issue is a big whah. He has had that avy for about 6 months and now someone finally complains? I've seen worse avys on here, but it's a freakin stuffed toy!!! Sheesh
Maybe someone was jealous cus B-Rabbit was bigger

I get the arguments on both sides. I don't expect to change anything, but what bugs me in general is people's expectations to never be offended by anything ever. This is crap. If you think you should be able to leave your house and go ANYWHERE (Including virtually across the internet) without being offended, then you are just stupid (and hopefully I offended you again.)
This NEED that has developed to be politically correct about EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME is ridiculas. It has caused WAY WAY WAY more problems than it has ever solved, and this is just one little example
Some people are offended by the bunnie's wee-wee, some are offended by the censorship, the rest don't care.
I tend to fall into the "free speach" camp on virtually every issue. I don't ever want to loose my freedom of speach (Big picture here, not specifically s2ki.) so I try to do what I can to help preserve free speach. The point here is that the people that get offended by the bunnie's package or a girl in a thong or WHATEVER are in the minority. I am not saying we should ignore them, but weigh their concerns against the rest of the community.
It does sound like you guys try to do this, but at times it seems like a knee-jerk reaction because we don;t have all the facts.
