Just read about this in the WSJ, its a flat pad that you can just set your cell phone on and it will charge it up. The pad plugs into the wall but nothing has to be plugged into the phone. Only for motorola now but will soon work w/apple and blackberry. And it looks like you can do multiple devices at once. Wildcharge.com for more info.

That's pretty neat. I've got something like that for my Seiko Kinetic watches. I just put the watch on top of the thing, let it sit for a few hours and its fully charged with 1 month of power if I never wear it, but my auto relay watches just go to sleep, so essentially have a few years of battery power.

50'' can be obtained for some thousands of dollars and 100'' for 100k? I guess the price grows exponentially. 100k... ridiculous. I'll get a GTR before buying that.

I have one of these:

It's not necessarily a gadget per se, but it sure comes in handy when opening UPS/FedEx boxes from board sponsors

It has a really nice mechanism for opening; it seems to be spring/lever loaded and snaps out with a nice "click."

I think all guys (hell, everyone in general) should have at least a slim flick knife like that or a tactical tanto multi edge blade. The ability to cut and make fire are two things a person should never be without
