...so it looks like they'll have this in Japan this summer as the Honda badged Type-R, producing around 210HP. gotta love the Recaro, MOMO goodies...

It is kind of annoying that we don't get the Type R, or some 5 passenger version of it.

Actually the Type S might have the same engine as the Type R. Does 206ps equate to 200HP? Or maybe that japenese website's info is some prelimary (and thus old) info!

sounds like the same engine to me.. 206 PS = 203.1819 hp

The site says 220 PS, 206 is the torque in Nm.
I still think it's the same engine though, a little detuned for the U.S. smog regulation.
