Too bad the whole thing is kind of a ripoff of this Lexus commercial.

The precision of the Lexus commercial compared with the "precision" of the Sonic/OK Go video is about what I'd expect from Lexus vs. Chevy.

^ along the same idea but I wouldnt call it a ripoff. OK GO played a whole song with a bunch of different instruments. The lexus one is just a short bit of drums. Either way, both are pretty cool to see.

Yeah, clearly they're totally different.

Hey, let's use a car that plays instruments as it drives alongside them for our Super Bowl Commercial!!

Didn't Lexus do that 2 years ago?

Yeah, but this one will appeal to hipsters.

Having just watched both videos: while they both involve a car playing instruments... one is *a f@#king band* playing *an entire f@#king song* and one is a half minute lexus commercial with a few drums. I actually really liked the lexus commercial the first time I saw it - this one is just better in every possible way. Also, hipsters would never be into OK GO... they're way too mainstream.
