A sensible answer?

We measure the worthiness as a thread.. now we could have left the pics of the paperclips getting it on, and deleted the ( advertisment removed ) and smilies in the next 10 posts, therfore mainting the initial post..

Now how do you think that would have gone over? OHH the moderator deleted my post!!!!

Or, we could move the thread intact to a forum that is ( wait for this ) 1 click away!!! to a place where it belonged based on the nature of the responses.

A thread is what people make it, it has a life of its own.. No one said the same pic couldn't be posted again in OT..

 

I think this sort of conduct is also detrimental to The Corner, and the regulars who post in the corner.. It also raises and supports the misconceptions about The Corner, and I don't think that they as a close community would appreciate dumping misc. threads over there.. so maybe you're better off deleting a "worthless" thread ...

To me topics in OT have meaning. Like something you find that you think others should know about. Not car related but not just pointless posting. Off topic is just that....off topic.

The paper porn-clips are funny as hell, which is why it generated so many "one-liner" posts. I mean...what else could you say?!? I was speachless myself, and had to pick myself up off the floor to post!! It in itself is off-topic though. That's where I feel it should belong.

The Corner is a place for the pointless stuff. Like Semi official games or other "Monkey" business. I have nothing against them expecially since I contribute to them. I just felt I had to speak up on this issue. Thanks
