OK, you guys asked, so here it goes. I have gone into lurk mode. Why? Frankly, I've REALLY FREAKING tired of the politics, the bashing, the bull****. I am even getting email calling ME unethical and shady about somehow subverting and/or trying to STEAL h-a's membership. It's just plain ****ing stupid and I'm just tired of it. This is especially true when s2ki has NOTHING TO DO WITH S2000online. We are not sponsors, we are not anything to S2000online. I'm not saying that at some point in the future that won't change...but for now, it is what it is and it's nothing! And those of you who have accused me and s2ki of all kinds of lascivious things, can kiss my cyber-ass!! Hell, come to Chicago, I'll let you kiss it in person! Get the facts before you start flinging sh!t at me...
I think Rick is a helluva nice guy, but I think his comments are WAY out of line and even rude. That turned me off a great deal. But it's his choice and I give him credit for speaking his mind, even if I totally disagree with what he said and the completely tactless manner in which he said it.
I'm tired of the arrows, tired of the attitudes and am sickened when it seems like every freaking thread turns into a flame war -- this is especially fvcked up on the thread Larry posted about the supercharger group buy. That was absolutely INEXCUSABLE! It STILL ****es me off!!
I just want things to be civil and respectable and with all the mudslinging and bull**** flying around I don't know how to get back to the great RESPECTFUL conversations that we once had. What the fvck is wrong with some people?!
Before I paint with a broad brush, so many of you I have met and developed friendships with, both in person and cyber-friends...a bunch of excellent people brought together by a fun car. Why does all this crap have to be ANY MORE complicated than THAT?! It's got to be just a small percentage that stirs trouble...maybe I just need a Valium.
Perhaps I needed to vent. I don't know.
Why don't we try this? Let's try to have topics and thread here and HA that DON'T turn into flame wars!? How do that sound?!
If that doesn't happen, among other attitude changes, you won't find me here, there or anywhere, I'll be out driving. Which is what this is all about, right? Or have some of you forgotten this simple fact?!
There is an awesome band in Austin called Joe Rockhead. They have tshirts that have printed on it their motto, "Just fvcking relax." Try it...

I do happen to agree with you. S2000Online has nothing, repeat, nothing to do with S2KI. We talked, that was it. The only link between us is the one on the top of this page.
I posted my intent to start a new board for S2000 folks on HA.net, even talked about it a bit. When it was suggested that such discussions were in poor taste, I agreed and deleted both topics on the subject. Tensions on HA got quite high over the past while and things got ugly. Whether it was GB's, outages or whatever it was just pain ugly.
Let's leave that behind. We are all here now, the server is working and so lets just go on and enjoy ourselves and our cars.
