Right now there is no standrad for instant messaging, so the MSN messenger and AOL IM will not communicate with eachother. There is a third party tool (I forgot the name) that allows you to talk to either IM service.

 

Is it Trillian, or is there something better? Trillian is a good idea, but it's not fully functional...

 

Yeah, that's it, Trillian. I think the problem that Trillian has is that AOL keeps putting up walls to their users, so Trillian has to always change to keep up.

I use odigo, but also have the other clients

 

ICQ works fine for me
