The OLDMAN is in the hospital AGAIN
Hello All,
This is Mrs. OLDMAN writing to all of you to let you know that the OLDMAN doesn't do anything half-way. He went in for a simple angioplasty on Tuesday May 2, and ended up having to have emergency open heart surgery with a quadruple coronary bypass. He is doing fine in the ICU and we hope he will be transferred to a stepdown unit by tomorrow. He has about a 7 day stay in the hospital, so you won't hear from him for awhile. He wanted me to let you all know that he's doing okay. We were lucky that he went in when he did. He had a 90% blockage in the big artery and a 70% blockage in the next smaller one. The docs said he would have died in a month if they hadn't found it during the procedure. We are really lucky to have the University of Michigan Health System hospital here. He is getting A-1 care.
Just wanted to keep you all posted since he enjoys talking to all of you so much.

Wow, when he did it, he definately went all the way. Afterall why only do a job half way. Glad to know they caught it in time. Good luck in the recovery, we'll see him back on the boards soon. And STOP EATING ALL THOSE FRIED FOODS!
