LOL, my coach said something along the same lines when I told him today

 

The only thing I messed up on my driving test is when I had to pull out from a parking lot onto a street. A truck was blocking the view from another street turning onto the one I was turning onto. And just as I was pulling out another car came onto the road and I stopped in the middle lane and waited.

The instructor said it was OK that I stopped in the middle lane but next time I should be careful of obstructed cars.

 

I remember this time after a soccer game in high school, we were on the school bus heading towards the freeway and were passing the DMV and you could see a car about to pull out on the street to take his test and he pulled out right in front of us and our bus driver went nuts cussing and laid on the horn.

The car pulled directly back into the parking lot. Instant fail, lol.

I got two points off for not scanning at intersections. Which is BS because in drivers training, that was the one big thing they mentioned so I made sure that I looked left, right, left, right, etc several times at each intersection so they wouldn't.

And I would congratulate you on the pass, but considering a friend of mine who crashed his brand new Impreza 5 times and then blew the engine within the first 15k miles got his license and then went crazy and was committed a couple years after that, I'm not impressed.
