I remember this time after a soccer game in high school, we were on the school bus heading towards the freeway and were passing the DMV and you could see a car about to pull out on the street to take his test and he pulled out right in front of us and our bus driver went nuts cussing and laid on the horn.

The car pulled directly back into the parking lot. Instant fail, lol.

I got two points off for not scanning at intersections. Which is BS because in drivers training, that was the one big thing they mentioned so I made sure that I looked left, right, left, right, etc several times at each intersection so they wouldn't.

And I would congratulate you on the pass, but considering a friend of mine who crashed his brand new Impreza 5 times and then blew the engine within the first 15k miles got his license and then went crazy and was committed a couple years after that, I'm not impressed.

Sorry. I rambled.
You may have rambled. . . your last paragraph may have saved the thread. Nice work.

Oh an whats up with getting your license at 17? Is that normal or did you fail a few times before this successful attempt?
Here in Texas permit is 15. License is 16 if you took a driving course and completed the drive times I think. That's the way I did it and I drove almost every day since I was 15 because I was eager to get behind the wheel and start learning to drive a year before I was on my own driving with a license .
Some high schoolers put it off until their parents make them get a permit, or when they can afford a car.

To the OP: You are a disgrace to the Asian community. In the history of test taking - I can't think of a single Asian that has EVER screwed up 11 times on a test. I think you should take it over and over till you get an A.
