online alternatives
i'm looking for some free websites for services.
what's everybody using instead of photopoint?
also, i'm interested in online storage.
the website i'm currently with is freedrive.com which offers 20mb of storage for free but in the next month or so, they're reducing it 5mb.
any suggestions?

I read an article today about the online storage services who expected to live off of ad revenues. Well, like everthing else in the Internet space, the honeymoon is coming to an end. idrive is ceasing service and Xdive is going to start charging $4.95 / month for 25 MB.
Any chance that your ISP offers some amount of drive space? I think every one I've had in the past few years has offered at least 5MB and some up to 20.

A while back, RHES2K posted this free site that could be used.
http://photo.epson.com/welcome/freeink.html
It's still through photopoint, but it's sponsored by Epson. RHES2K said that Epson wasn't going to charge, at least for the time being.
Look at this thread to see what he said. His post is towards the bottom.

As for hosting services, I used freedrive and idrive and I think they are starting to charge now. Not sure what other free service there is.
