Default Looking for FREE Accounting Reference Information on the Web

Does anybody have a good site (free) for accounting reference material (USGAAP, FASB and APB). My Firms reference libary is not on-line and I hate to have to walk cross-town to get the information.

Thanks,
Michael

you might want to start with:

www.njscpa.org
www.aicpa.org
www.irs.ustreas.gov

what are you looking for?

Thanks ralper,

At this moment, I'm looking for APB No. 30. I'm currently reviewing the financial statements of a line-of-business which my firm considers 'discontinued'. I have questioned the controller and he referenced APB No. 30. Rather than walking to our financial library, I'm looking to see if it is available on-line for free.

I'll look at the links you've provided.

Regards,
Michael
