The correct way to enjoy vodka is to get girls drunk with it while you enjoy a good beer.

I personally guzzle any hard liquor, but I do enjoy the good stuff. The best way to taste vodka is to pour it into a glass at room temperature and sip it. (I can't do that most of time, but with Hangar One it's not terrible). Next best is to drink it on the rocks or stir it in an ice-filled shaker and strain the ice out. You really shouldn't keep vodka in the freezer. It will take on a syrupy texture and lose a lot of the good flavors while keeping the flavors I think are harsh.

I like Grey Goose best in a vodka martini*.

* I don't know what that drink is called but real martinis are made with gin

As a bartender of quite some time.....here's my opinion on vodkas....

Vox - 9 times distilled, smooth, and pure.
Grey Goose - very clean and smooth tasting, with no hangovers.
Cristianne (spelling is off) From Norway, very good vodka
Van Hoo - also a fantastic vodka.
Stolichanaya Gold - same as grey goose
Stolichnaya and Absolut, the best "table vodkas" you can get
Belvedere - piss in a bottle. The only reason is costs so much is all the rappers drink it. On the same note, Cristal is considered cheap champagne by real critics.

Level, the most vile vodka I have ever tasted.

Chopin, good, but you have to like potato vodka.

Chopin chocolate is incredible.

Three Olives - very clean, and smooth, awesome to mix.

Smirnoff, rat piss in a bottle

Rain - very good vodka, grey goose is better for the money

Zygo (spelling) great tasting fruit vodka.

Seagrams, not too bad, cheap, and good for mixing

Danzk - smooth, the "in" vodka to drink

Ketel One - same level as Stoli, good vodka.

Skyy, one of my favorites, very clean and no hangovers.

Hangar One, grey goose quality, hard to come by though.

I have more, just cant think of them at this second.

By the way, a good tip for all you experts out there......

When you get a nice bottle of vodka at home, you got to the freezer, grab a few rocks, and sip. But whats the point of these top end vodkas is you pollute it with tap water from the ice.

Use filtered water ice cubes for your vodkas, youll be AMAZED at the difference.

From that big list up there ...

I like Belvedere and Level, don't drink them too often because there are better, but I'll choose them over a lot. Don't like Ketel One nor Skyy.

I go through about 750mL each of Hangar 1, Grey Goose, and Vox a month. 1.75L of Stoli for mixers. I have a lot of guests over
