Default watermelon and rum?

some dude told me to try this.

buy a watermelon cut a small piece out so you can see the red part of the watermelon and start pouring rum into it. it will take awhile to soak the rum but it will and then put the cap back on chill it for couple of days and eat it til you get drunk.

anyone heard or tried this? i m looking for some drink receipe that my girl can enjoy and get pretty drunk. i can drink watever so i am not a problem getting drunk but my girl is just so damn picky. so i am looking for a receipe that does taste really really good (can't taste alcohol much but plenty of alcohol in it) and get drunk fairly quick. any suggestions?

That waterwelon thing sounds alright! Humm thats tough. I hate beer. So I tend to drink liquor. I've mixed flavors of gatorade with flavored rum (tropical berry or something like that). It was pretty good, but you can still taste it. Homemade daiquiris are good. I've heard of people mixing liquor with koolaid. I think it was grape koolaid and vodka. They refered to it as a purple panty dropper. Sheesh. Hope this thread yields some good ideas! I love mixing up crazy drinks.

I'd do vodka. Rum sounds kind of nasty with watermelon, but I've never tried it so I really don't know first hand.

ever heard of a hairy buffalo? try one of those out. its basically a ton of liquor that you let soak in a bunch of fruit/fruit punch for about 10 hours. the taste of alcohol goes away and all you taste is the fruit. DELICIOUS!

yeah ive only had vodka with a watermelon... we used to have it every wednesday at college when watermelon was available... great for getting a party started... if u dont have time to do it the "right way", precut the watermelon in cubes in a baking dish all about the same size then douche the watermelon with vodka so that every bite is covered... a few hours later itll be ready to eat so start passing it around... the best part is that not all of the vodka will get absorbed, take the left over vodka in the pan and start pouring shots... you want to see a real panty dropper... haha

Back in the ghetto days we would take a syringe and fill it with Everclear and inject it into a couple points on an orange. Peel the orange eat the slices and slip away into sweet intoxicated bliss. Gangsta.
