Oregon Got Screwed
Oregon finished 2nd in both polls and is Pac 10 champ. Nebraska, which finished 4th in both polls and got absolulely thumped by Colorado the day after Thanksgiving, is going to the Rose Bowl to play for No. 1. The BCS is CRAP!
If Oregon beats CU and Nebraska beats Miami, Oregon will likely be at least co-champions by the AP poll...
Of course if CU beats Oregon and Nebraska beats Miami, CU might share a championship with the team they trounced!
If Miami wins, however, they will be the undisputed champions.
Good thing the BCS took the ambiguity out of the national championship!

personally..i think if oregon is number 2 in the polls they should go, but they are sooooo overrated that for their own sake....i'm glad they didn't go.....Miami would have gobbled them up like leftover turkey!!
Of course colorado is gonna hurt them bad anyway....so it all works out for me in the end...bein a non-duck fan....and especially a non-"i'm the most overrated QB in college football" harrington fan!!

I don't see what the big deal is:
-- Nebraska has one loss, to the #3 team in both polls.
-- Colorado has two losses, to Texas and to Fresno State (Fresno State??). Just because you get hot at the end of the season doesn't mean that your early losses don't count.
-- Oregon has one loss, to the #11 team. If you check their schedule strength, they didn't play teams anywhere near at tough as NU or CU did.
NU has one conference loss and didn't win the Big12 title; Oregon has one conference loss but still won the title. So what? One loss is one loss...Oregon just got lucky that Stanford lost 2 conference games; that doesn't make them a better team.
It's too bad that losses at the end of the season always hurt you more than early season losses.
