Oregon Got Screwed
Don't matter there is a Category 5 Hurricane blowing through Pasadena on the 3rd!
I'm going to the game, so I'm happy.
I went to the Sugar Bowl last year when the same thing happened to Miami. I got my picture in the New Orleans Paper holding up a sign:
A - in't the
B - CS
C - rap
It didn't make it on TV though, since ESPN and ABC are both in bed with those BCS aholes.
I personally think Oregon or CU were more deserving to go. No team that: 1) Had 62 points score on it in its last game, 2) Didnt win their conference 3) Lost their last game, should go to the title game.
Oh well. I'm just hoping Miami can put 62 up on the Huskies.

I don't think Oregon deserves it as much as Nebraska, and Nebraska doesn't deserve it as much as Colorado. Playoffs would obviously be the best solution, but I don't think that's going to happen for a long time.
All very true. I'm just looking at it from the perspective of what happend to us last year.
In reality, take the top 8 teams in the polls and have a playoff. It works for 1-AA football and 1-A Baseball and Basketball.

The BCS screwed The University of Hawaii too! We beat two ranked teams, including the blowout of BYU this past weekend, we amassed over 1500 yards in the last 3 games, and our season is over! 9-3 on the year, and no bowl game.
HONOLULU (AP) -- Nick Rolovich did his best to prove that bowl organizers made a mistake by passing up Hawaii.
Rolovich threw eight touchdown passes and Chad Owens scored on kickoff and punt returns as Hawaii ended BYU's (No. 7 ESPN/USA Today, No. 9 AP) bid for a perfect season with a 72-45 victory Saturday.
"We can't do anything personally about bowls, except put on the show we did," said Rolovich, who played his final game for Hawaii. "I think people want to see us in a bowl game, but what can we do?"
BYU coach Gary Crowton agreed.
"It's a travesty these guys aren't in a bowl game at 9-3 because they're a very good football team," Crowton said.
Hawaii ended BYU's winning streak at 14 with the highest point total ever against the Cougars (12-1), who will play Louisville in the Liberty Bowl.
Rolovich, 8-1 since taking over as the starter, was 29-of-52 for 543 yards. He has passed for 20 TDs and 1,548 yards in the last three games. During that stretch, Hawaii has scored 176 points.

I just saw another interestng stat for those guys who say that any team that loses by 26 points shouldn't go to the Rose Bowl...
Anyone remember the score of the Texas-Colorado game?
41-7 Texas...that's a 34 point loss.
