Osama's Where-abouts
Where do you think he is?
I think because of the fact that the his fighters are figthing to the death a battle they are clearly losing shows me that he is there and they are trying to protect their leader.
IMO of course.

I think he is in the mountains in Afghanistan still.
Hopefully his head will be left so the world can see his fate.
When these idiots realise that only death follows such actions, they will think again.

These idiots are willing to die for what they believe is right... Death doesn't intimidate them any, they think they are dying martyre's or whatever...

The foot soldiers are certainly willing to die for the cause but I suspect many of their leaders are chickens at heart. Remember Gadaffi, he shut up after they bombed his tent.
No-one should doubt the personal courage of the hard core Taliban or Bin Laden himself for that matter, he has proven himself to be a brave fighter in battle many times. It is the odious twisted ideology of these people that condemns them to their fate.
It's pretty easy for him to last this long. There was an article in the LA Times about the caves and how they are made. It's like a little city down in the caves. He could easily last there for a year. The hard part, and the most dangerous, is going in there and getting him out.

[B]It is amazing that he has lasted this long at all. 25 million dollar reward. Who wants to go digging buried treasure in the cave?

We've got some pretty awesome technology on the ground and in the air to do it. The Soviets fought the Moujahadeen with up to 150,000 troops for about 10 years. Bombed then all day long every day. 15,000 Soviet troops killed -- maybe a lot more. Eventually turned tail and bailed out.
We used airpower and scruffy Northern Alliance and, later southern Pushtuns, inserting special forces and, then limited ground troops, to rout the Taliban and Al Queda out of the whole country and into the mountains in the south in two months. They're toast.
