The worst is when he pushes down on it like he's trying to fix it! You can hear it crack again!

I did the same thing skate boarding when I was younger. Broke a bone and also had a "greenstick" break where the bone bends but doesn't snap. Looked weird and didn't really hurt all that bad. I was more afraid of getting in trouble when I got home.

Yeah, why would they tell him to push it back...like it's an optical illusion or something and pushing it back will just fix it. kinda funny...but sick

Did the same thing boxing a few years ago. I didn't realize it was broken until the next day. It hurt like hell and I had to keep putting my hand under hot water to relieve the pain. I went to work where I work as a meat cutter. I tried to grind some hamburger and it just fell to the floor because my wrist wouldn't support anything. It's the swelling that hurts and not so much when you break a bone. What hurts worse is a dislocation. I had a 3rd degree shoulder dislocation and broken clavical. I had that wonderful experience when I fell off my bike at 30 mph and into the street. Skidded into the street, to and up the curb (thank God it was a wheel chair access curb--no helmet) and onto the sidewalk where I woke up in the dark bloodied and road rashed. I fell on my left shoulder because I tried to tuck and roll. I was layed up for at least a month. I couldn't raise my arm above my waist for weeks. Good thing it was my left side if you know what I mean.
