to me, owning the s2000 is already special albeit not expensive. i see more ferraris than of our cars daily. to me the S is my exotic that didn't cost a lot. i am still wondering what do you substantially get when you spend the extra money.

There's a guy near me that drives his Testarossa daily. He rarely washes it and he enjoys the heck out of it. Some people get pissed because he doesn't keep it spotless. That's their problem, not his. When he passes an S2000 or Miata he's known to often give them a thumbs up and a big grin. He's my kind of car guy.

Nice! If I had one today, I could probably afford to drive it less than 5,000 miles a year, or roughly $7,500 in maintenance. Sadly, even though the car may depreciate, the parts and labor do not. Someday (sigh)...someday.
