I meant my reply as a joke. Look around you; there's life in this galaxy.

I think anyone who honestly doesn't believe that there's life anywhere else either takes religion far too seriously or knows absolutely nothing about statistics. Space is so huge, if you can imagine something physically possible (and even some things that might not be physically possible), it's happening somewhere right now.

Very cool find!
The human race's only hope for long term survival is to get off this planet. Most likely we will kill each other off or suffer some cataclysmal disaster (not necessarily natural). Hopefully we will live long enough to develop the technology to colonize the stars.
