Just part of life I guess
I don't really think that is necessarily a bad thing. I'm 35 and I still get that sense that I am being talked down to from time to time, but is only because they care.

I moved out at 23 and just recently moved back home to save money and pay off some bills. I get little to no hassle (probably because of that time I spent on my own). I'm hardly ever at my house anyway so I don't get a hard time.

Working for your parents, and living on their dime, no wonder they think of you as a kid.

I work alot of 12 hour days for them with no over time pay and I work 7 days a week.I would guess i work atleast 65 hours/week.It's not like I'm staying at home just getting a free ride for doing nothing.

I think the fact that you're almost 30 and asking s2ki why your parents don't respect you probably says something about your character/ disposition

It's weird though... I know a lot of people who are my age or slightly younger (21-25) and are still living with their parents. When did this become the norm? I absolutely could not wait to turn 18 to get the F out of there.
