I find it is easier for me to exit a parking space that I have reversed into rather than head into.

If you're talking about a parallel type of parking, then of course reversing in is the easiest way. That's why it's a common practice and teaching.

It depends. If there is a wall, column, curb, etc. on the right I pull in. If it's on the left I back in. The reasoning is to hug the passenger side of my car with the object to help prevent dings.

I think people, head in because they are always in a hurry. I back in alot, but must note that I used to work in a parking garage where I had to back in everyone's car. So I am really used to doing it.

Also a lot of people pull in (head in) because they dont want to lose the spot to another parker while backing in.

I presume you are referring to parking lot parking, not parallel parking.

I would say head in is easier. In reverse, it is always easier to back out to open space than to back into a tight space (between adjacent cars).

I personally like to reverse in. It is also an unwritten rule in common courtesy in Japan.

It depends on the situation... When space is tight I'll back in... If there are plenty of parking spaces I'll just park.

I can't believe someone would steal your spot when you are parallel parking.

I could see it for the slotted spaces where 2 people might be coming from different directions.
