Parking-- Head In or Reverse In???

However, it really is easier for me to back into a tight parking space (taking advantage of side mirrors) than trying to guess how close your front bumper is to the car your 1cm from hitting... Depends on the situation.

What difference does it make? It's just as easy to park head in as to back in. Head in makes the trunk easier to load.

In places where part of the driver's exam include PARALLEL PARKING (like here in Calgary), you MUST pull slightly past the parking spot and BACK IN as your first manouver in the process. Then you pull ahead to position the car parallel to the curb and at a prescibed distance from the curb.
