Default Paypal account closed; what else is out there?

Recently I've been picking up certain items from locals through Craigslist and selling them on eBay for a profit. Once I started selling a lot more, eBay and Paypal started to become more and more interested and asked me to provide proof of where the item was coming from. I explained to them what I was doing and they still requested that I have invoices faxed to them and such.

Over time, Paypal concluded that I was too much of a "security risk" and closed off my account and are holding my funds for 180 days! So that's that.

I am now looking for a new payment processor to use through eBay. Does anybody have any experience with any of them? I understand that nothing will probably compare to Paypal when it comes with paying through eBay, but I've got to find something that will work. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks.

Paypal is a part of Ebay, so you're pretty much screwed, except cashiers check, but who uses that anymore. You can create another account under a different email/name, etc.

Amazon Payments is another online paying service, but it's not allowed on Ebay because it's a direct competitor to PP.

I've been with PP for well over a decade and never liked them.

I've done in excess of $75,000 in transactions through Paypal in the last 3 years and never gotten anything more than emails thanking me and offering promotions. What the heck were you turning over?

"picked up certain items through locals" sounds a lot like "fell off the back of a truck".

If your selling items that were thought to or verified to have been stolen then I can sure see them cutting you off quick.

Use Amazon Payments - everyone should get off PayPal imo.

You can still use PP by simply using a credit card and not opening an account. The fact that I have to use PP for ebay is the no 1 reason I don't use eBay anymore either.
