Default Paypal stupid?

Okay heres the deal.... i bought a item from someone.. $425.. whoops! i did it from the wrong bank account, so i called paypal, and they told me they cannot cancel orders, but to have my bank put a hold or whatever... so i called my bank and put a hold (on that account) on anything over $400 comming from paypal.. cool. Then paypal told me to have the seller do a refund, just incase. Thing is, the money never left my bank account, but did get into his paypal account.. for those of you who have used paypal, you know what im talking about, the money gets "sent" in paypals world, but hasnt even left your account yet. So anyway, i send him the $425 again through my other bank account, the one i intended to use.. so my paypal account should be a 0.00 correct? WRONG! because he refunded me the original $425 back... even though it had never left my bank account, pay pal said i sent it.. so now i have a $+425.00 in my paypal...

make sense????? i called them.. but they outsource or something, and knowone knew what the hell i was talking about and kept telling me how to put the money in my BACK into my bank account... even tho it never left... weird huh..

this all happened today, so i have no idea how this whole thing will pan out, but it looks to be in my favor??

but that money isnt really mine. nothing ever came out of my bank account, so the refund is just extra money?

They will fix the error, it once took 4 months for them to fix that error with my account before. It suprised me 4 months later when they took a couple hundred from my account.

Make sure the seller isn't out. One thing is certain - PayPal will get its money back and doesn't mind screwing it customers. If the seller isn't out $400, then close your account with PayPal and run with the money! You can always open a new account later
