PDA Question
I'm concidering purchaseing this PDA, whats selling me on it is the ability to do word documents, and the mp3 player capabilities, Anyone have this or a similiar pda could give me some review?
well the tungsten E is under $200, and it is a good deal. I've always loved the Palm OS, but unless they can start writing a more featured OS, they're done.
Sadly, the PDA world is moving to Microsoft. The PocketPC devices are very featured for the price.
If you are just looking for a PDA for contacts/appointments and MP3s, the tungstenE is a great choice. If you want to play videos and surf the web, you'll want to go with something else.
I have a Treo600 (also made by PalmOne) and it perfectly merges a PDA and phone. It is an awesome tool for email and occasional browsing. It uses the Sprint 1xRTT network and gets about 100Kbps. It's only weakness is the low resolution 160*160 screen. At the time, there were no 320*320 LCDs that small, but the next version will have that and I'm moving up!

I echo the sentiments of the Dell Axim (x30 h). You have all the things that you want in your post available at your disposal, plus you also get newest version of Windows CE that enables the landscape screen (and the 802.11 capability sure is a selling point as pointed out earlier). If you do your DD, you can get some pretty good deals online (between $267-$297) for the 624Mhz processor that is originally listed at $350.
