I bought an iMac for my Mom and have sucessfully taught her how to use Microsoft Outlook for e-mail. Outlook doesn't appear to have a spell checker. It appears that you need to own Word or Office for the spell check features of Outlook to work.

Does anyone know a way that I set her up with a spell checker for Outlook without buying Office or Word?

Do you mean Outlook Express or did you install the Outlook (Mac) client program for MS Exchange?


Both programs require MS Office or Word to enable spell check.
