Are people really this insensitive? (Or stupid, or simply blind?)
Yesterday Arrow 93 (93.1 FM in LA) announced that the entire weekend--Friday, Saturday, and Sunday--would be a tribute to George Harrison and his music. Right after the announcement, they launched into a song: Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust." Can they really be that insensitive? Or are they simply stupid? Or did no one notice how out of place that song is?
I e-mailed the music director there to see what he has to say. Oddly enough, as I was composing the e-mail, the television news was conducting "man-in-the-street" interviews about George Harrison's death. One woman in London remarked "and another one gone." How ironic.

yes, people really are that insensitive. they go by their books, they go by the marketing departments, they go by their sales and they do what is on their little pieces of papers that are all nice and neat and in order without thinking about what they are doing.
not many people actually think about what they are doing or put life into what they do these days.
