people with touchscreen phones,
I really need a new phone. I'm trying to decide between the AT&T "Tilt" and sprint "touch".
I like the tilt because it's sleek and has everything. a touch screen, keyboard, stylus...I've also been happy with ATT service.
I am looking at sprint to get their employee referral program. It's like 30 bucks and includes unlimited data plan and text messaging. I'm not familiar with sprint service. The other drawback to getting the touch is the lack of keyboard.
so how important is the keyboard? also any comments on the phones or service carriers would be appreciated.

I really don't know anything about either one of those phones or how much they cost. I personally have an iPhone and I really do like it. Not just because it is an "iPhone". What are the prices of the phones you are looking at?

Personally, I wouldn't have Sprint as my carrier.
Check out the new Voyager from Verizon. It has the touchscreen capabilities and also opens up to a full qwerty keyboard. Its fairly new so I would say wait around for some reviews. But to get the best idea, I'd suggest maybe going out to different vendors and actually playing with the phones to see what you're most comfortable with and which ones meet your top priorities of what you need out of the phone (i.e. business, e-mail, internet, texting, etc.).

i have a touchscreen. the sony ericsson p910 series
i'll never own one again *i dont think*, it gets a little annoying for me having stuff accidentally pressed. but the drawing options are really good, for creating small graphics and such if you need them stored on your phone

I have the old HTC/ATT 8125. I'm also looking to buy a new phone and be thinking about getting the Tilt or waiting for the 3G iPhone. As for the Touch, you can get an unlocked one and use it with T-mobile/ATT. I've seen the Touch in person and the screen/color looks very washed out when I had it next to the iPhone.
As for the touchscreen aspect, it's very convenient and I wished more phones would implement this.
