^^ You're absolutely right.... no excuse whatsoever! The parking lines are there for you to park in between so that you can safely manuever in and out without hitting someone else car.

tell me about it. i'm a frequent curb parker to avoid dents yet people still park past the line and try to dent my door. its like they're intentionally doing it... they should be issued a parking ticket lol

To avoid this, I'll park the car diagonally in the space. With the back driver's corner close to the line, they can't get close to my doors with their car, so I risk the bumper for the doors, but it seems to work.

Hopefully, right after you left, a full-size SUV came in and parked right next to him... really, really close.

parking like that scares me, everytime i see someone parking like that in the parking lot and next to it its a empty parking i just ignore it and move on haha

I've seen much worse, consider yourself lucky.

Quite a few times I've seen two lifted trucks park between a small car like a Mini or Bettle with barely room to squeeze yourself in!
