They were probably on their way home from a dinner, but it was a journey into death: Four people - including a ten-year-old boy - are on Sunday evening came near Wöllstein (Alzey-Worms) in a traffic accident.

She died when her car, a BMW 3 Series Coupe, first came off from unknown causes after a slight bend of the road, against two trees crashed and was torn to pieces.

Brand new company car

A 38-year-old man, his ten year old son and two women aged between 28 and 33 years, according to police thrown out of the car and fatally injured. A 46-year-old who had been sitting in the passenger seat, was trapped and suffered fatal injuries.

When the car is, according to police about the official car of the man who worked at a car dealership and is like the other victims of Wöllstein. Those who had been sitting at the wheel, was initially just as unclear as the cause of the accident.

The BMW was too fast?

The inmates were known, they had planned to eat something and be at Bad Kreuznach was probably on the way back, Rüdiger Schmitt reported by police in Alzey. Presumptions that the car crashed because of too high a pace, he would not confirm. "It may as well be that an animal has crossed the road," he said.

The road itself was dry and free of the curve itself can also be passed through at a speed of one hundred. Evidence that alcohol may have played a role in the accident, there was not at first. According to initial police investigation no other car was involved in the accident on the highway 420 in Alzey-Worms.

Boy thrown 40 meters

The car itself - a new Demonstration - have probably not had a technical failure, said Schmitt. It was torn at the impact in two major and several smaller parts. "If even the steering wheel is pulled down, can you imagine how much energy was being released," said Schmitt.

The ten-year-old boy was thrown to his specifications about 40 yards into a field. Whether the bodies are autopsied must still decide the prosecution, said the police spokesman.

The thing I dont understand is normally when things crash they compact together and crush in on themselves. This thing appears to have torn apart outwards.

Aliens...
