pet cloning

Still, I can't believe that you can't comprehend what we're explaining to you. $150K is not a big expense to some people. There are many people in the world that go to Vegas and blow that in a 3-day weekend. So, why are you so adamant that it's incomprehensible for this particular family to blow $150K on a dog-clone? It's not your money!!! That's the point that I'm trying to make to you. Why should you care how these people spend it. They could spend it on a car, a house, a Louis Vuitton briefcase, 6 months' landscaping fees on their 30-acre estate in the English countryside, whatever. For all we know, they're using this dog-clone as a symbol of exclusivity, just like someone who wears a one-of-a-kind outfit by Vera Wang.
At this point, I'm leaving this thread because I'm beginning to think that you're just some sort of troll trying to draw attention to yourself. It's not feasible that someone who is functionally capable of typing letters on a keyboard which form actual sentences could seriously not understand the point we're making here. I can't believe I've actually stuck around this long. Have fun.

[QUOTE=mxt_77,Feb 3 2009, 08:46 AM] It would be irrelevant for me to ask my friends and family if they'd spend a small fortune to clone a dog.
