Without getting real technical and nerdy, this is sort of how CDs and wireless links work. It's about transmitting redundant information.. So a CD player can read the data correctly, even if the data isn't entirely correct. When you make a sentence like you did, your brain already knows something about the words you are making, like what possible letter cimbinations make real words, and what words you would expect to see together and likely grammer combinations. A CD does something very similar.
Sorry that was sort of geeky, but when I was researching the wireless/CD comm stuff, it made the analogy of misspelled words.
