Pilots. Where are you?

I just spend a weekend in a small private plane (not some jet or anything fancy) and I've been up a couple of times in the past with friends. I want to get my license and then eventually get a plane (in a partnership or by myself).

Anyone here do this?

I've had my license since I was 17, It's an investment and mine goes WAY underused, partial ownership is a good plan even though I don't own anything right now. You have to be passionate about it, and enjoy driving in the 3rd dimension.

Lessons are expensive. I got my license many years ago and it cost a small fortune.

Yeah, I have friends that are pilots. I plan on taking lessons eventually and then getting a plane or in a partnership. It was so fun riding in one the times I went.
